Well guess what?! It WASN'T deleted after all!! It took me an hour or more to figure it out, but when the action ran, another PS window opened with a blank document where the action/item should have been. I was frustrated and went to close Photoshop.... I clicked the X and voila'! There it was, behind the first window. Don't ask me how, I don't know! I am just so glad it was there!

Yeah.. that's another trick to creating good actions.. duplicate the document first.. should have thought of that one but I assumed this had happened awhile back and you had already closed the program.
