This is like asking a Canon user to recommend Nikon and vice-versa.. just not going to happen often. HP, Canon and Epson are the big three and almost all their higher end (ie: wide) printers have pluses and minuses. HP - really eats ink but the 9180 is a decent pigment ink printer. Canon is fast and sips ink - the i9900 is a great dye ink wide carriage printer.. the Pro9000 is their pigment choice. Epson has a bunch of them.. they used to clog the head consistently if not used at least weekly.. but this seems to be less of an issue now. More models than I can mention...

The choice is really yours.. Good Luck!
