Smile Help with putting my pages on DVD

Hi everyone,

I am working on a project for my mom and dad's 50 wedding aniversry. I have got all of there pictures thru the years and I am scraping them, well when I am done I would like to make a movie or slide show (not really sure what to call it, never done one) on a DVD to show at the party. I need some help on picking a program to do this. I have no clue.

Thanks for your help

I have used Photodex (ProShow Gold) for several slideshows that I have created for friends and family. It is an amazing program and I am more than satisfied, not to mention that the recipients are thrilled with the results! You can do so much with this program such as: add music for each slide (you can even choose which portion of the song to start and when to end), pan and zoom still shots, add video, 100's of transitions, multi layers on each frame, captions and much much more. It is fully customizable. And you can get a free trial...think it is for 30 days.
Check it out here:

Hope this helps.

There are lots of options, you most likely have Windows Movie Maker or Photo Story, or if you have Nero - Nero Vision on your computer - you can use any of these or you can purchase software with more bells and whistles like the one recommended above.
I'd probably recommend trying one of the ones you have first and then deciding if you want more than what it offers. There are easy to follow step by steps n using Windows Movie Maker on there Microsoft website as well as updates and addons.

I concur with Proshow Gold - I use Proshow Producer and have for a few years.. I've probably created about 50 slideshows professionally with it - it is just amazing. You can do advanced pans/zooms easily and even set the slide timings to music per keyframe - something not available in many other packages.

I highly recommend you download the demo and give it a shot.
