Trademarked/Logos - taking them off-site to Costco, Wal-Mart or any other lab should be a problem if you do not have permission. Even though your creations are for your personal use (not for sale or commercial use) the lab still has to observe the copyright law. They ideally cannot/will not print something that has trademarks/logos etc. unless you show proof of permission.
Technology has really put a dent in the pro photograher's business. As a result of technology I no longer do straight prints. My proofing is done in low res digital images, burned to a CD with copy protection on it.
As a result of technology if I shoot film, I proof and have all the money for the service up front. I also give my customer the negatives and/or original digital images. My price is higher than it would be otherwise.
I started doing this when one day at Wal-Mart I saw someone using the kiosk to make copies of a wedding I shot. The abuser was having a good laugh over how she and the bride's mother were getting one over on the photographer.
I wasn't happy about this. After all my skills as a photographer were putting food on the table and paying my bills for living expenses.
So now when I shot a wedding I charge more knowing that I will not get any reprint or album orders. And if a customer comes back to me for print services I am sure to give them a very reasonable price.
P.S. This past week the RAAI case with the single mother who downloaded music without paying for it - she was found guilty, a dozen songs, $9,000.00 fine per song.
Copyright infringement is a lawyers dream - perpetual job security.
