Sooooo frustrated

I'm trying to finish my first LO for the Stand up and Scrap and DIP is driving me crazy right now!! I don't know if I have to delete something to make more room on the hard drive or if it's the memory or what, but I got so far on my LO and then the next time I tried to save, it just wouldn't let me. I've tried shutting the computer down and starting it again and I keep getting the same "Cannot Save" message. I'm so frustrated because this LO has already taken forever and I only have about 3 steps left that I want to do to it but I can't!! Does anyone know how I can fix this problem??

I'm so sorry. I wish I could help...hope you figure it out! I know it can be very frustrating. Seems like I've had a similar problem before, but I don't remember how to fix it and it wasn't in DIP.

Have you tried
1. opening the file you want,
2. duplicating the entire thing and saving as a new file,
3. closing the original file and
4. finishing the page in the new file?

For some reason, this often works when I have a document acting up. And it works in every piece of software, not just DIP. It's like something wonky has happened in the original file and it's corrupted. Strange that I can copy it and save it elsewhere without problems, but it works 98% of the time.

Yep General has the suggestion that should work for you: it happens unfortunately that a file gets corrupt some where along the way - especially huge files.
