Anybody got a Xyron?

Anyone got a Xyron? I got one for my birthday (9 inch model) over a month ago but today is the first time Ive actually got use it! I teach a r/w digital photography course and our last night is always about other things you can do and make with your digital photos and i make little examples
Anyway so far Ive made a champagne bottle label and some bedroom door name plates with the sticker/ laminate cartridge . I used the magnet/laminate cartridge and turned a bunch of my layouts into 4x4 fridge magnets that look great - even if I do say so myself!
This is a fab little machine to really extend your digi scrapping into your home and decor.
Has anybody else made stuff? Share!

I've got one, and used to use it a lot more when I did all paper scrapping. I've used it to stick patterned paper to the outside of a metal lunchbox-all the sides-and made a gift box for a friend. I love to get it out when one of the kids has to do a poster for school or a science fair project board. The Xyron makes it so easy to stick things to a poster--we cut everything out, run it through and adhere--so fast. And the repositionable adhesive cartridge makes it easy to make sure things get stuck in the right place.

Glad you're enjoying your new toy, Shelleyrae!

Same here. I have the small one that doesn't do magnets or lamination. But I don't use it that much since I started digi scrapping so I haven't considered replacing it.

Love my Xyron! I've used it to make labels and to make covers for albums. For some reason, I can't get the laminating to work well - it comes out all wrinkly.

Yup! LOVE the Xyron and I just started recently using mine again too. I have the old 850 and was surprised to have found laminate cartridges for it still--stocked up. Guess I should probably stock up on adhesive too. Anyway, I just used it to laminate a trading card albums with Amy's templates.

I have the 5" and 9". I use both mainly for cards. I print photos for large card and note size cards than cut and use Xyron for the front of the cardstock. It works great and a photo quanity front
