Mine is old, old, old (like me) and I expected it to be a 14th century Gregorian Chant but it turned out to be "You'll Never Know" by Dick Haymes. And since it is so old, I've included additional information:

You'll never know just how much I love you
You'll never know just how much I care
And if I tried
I still couldn't hide
My love for you
You ought to know
For haven't I told you so
A million or more times?

You went away and my heart went with you
I speak your name in my every prayer
If there is some other way
To prove that I love you
I swear I don't know how
You'll never know if you don't know now.

"Timeless love song which was a huge Hit Parade favorite during the war years and the Best Song Oscar winner of 1943. Written for and sung by Alice Faye who appeared almost motionless on the screen, singing into a telephone, in the Fox musical "Hello, Frisco, Hello." That same performance was used thirty-two years later under the opening credits of the Martin Scorcese movie with Ellen Burstyn, "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore."

Also recorded by:

Willie Nelson

Harry James & His Orchestra
Jo Stafford
Red Garland Trio
Shirley Bassey

Johnny Mathis
Vera Lynn
Brook Benton
Eydie Gorme
Timi Yuro
Ray Price

LOL - mine was old enough not to have a link either but it is a Spanish song that translates to God is On Your Side - how perfect is that!

Actually, my husband is the real wit in our house. I'm just the half-wit. (Sorry, corny joke!!)

Mine was "Love Rollercoaster" by The Ohio Players. Hmmm...I'll have to see if I can find it. I've never heard it.

"Get Back" by the Beatles. Hmmmmm. Wouldn't know how to scrap that one. After two kids, "Baby Got Back (end)" would be more appropriate.
