What Scrapping technique would YOU like to master?

Just a curious question

What Scrapping (not designing)technique would YOU like to master but were afraid to ask?

Ever wonder 'how the heck did they do that?'
or ' I would LOVE to sit next to (insert fav scrapper's name) and watch her work!'
Tell us your program, feel free to link to SBB gallery

I would love to learn how to make papers look torn. I use Photoshop CS2 . It is such an awesome look when done on layout but I have no clue.

I would love to learn brushes and how to use them...I have some and all they do is blink and flash at me but nothing else. I use Photoshop elements 4.0

If I could sit next to anyone it would be Shellyrea or Christina Renee I am in awe of their awsome designing abilities.

oh wow this is awesome i'm going on a trip around the world are you coming with me?

First I'm gonna visit Karen cause I would love to master the skills of Karen (hom74) I mean come on, her talent must rub off when you sit next to her right?

After that I'm gonna pay a visit to JodyM her pages are so unique I would love to learn how to scrap those, cause basicly I only plop it all on a page without having it look that great!

Then i'm gonna pick up Luisa to have some fun with her, she's so sweet!

Then I would really want to hook up and fly over to Trish Jones, cause she's such a talented designer, and yeah that must rub off as well, as long as I hug her long enough, besides she's funny

After that I'm flying to hongKong to meet and greet Fhung Lie, bet you i'm not learning from her cause i'm just to excited to sit next to her *gosh*

And then I think I need to fly over to everyone else thats just awesome, friendly, loveable, huggable and sweet so we can get together and hey when I get home I will have LOADS of new pics to scrap iwth, and maybe a few new techniques

okay this was serious but not uhm managable I'm affraid, but I would love to learn another program that gives more freedom like text on a path and such, I work with psp now.

Loved your response Carin and ditto to all you said. So many favorites to choose from but since I struggle with being a sloooooow scrapper I'd have to pick Zinzilah just cause she can whip out like a zillion awesome LO's a month and I would love to know how she does it. Techniques???? I'm so slow at creating a LO I don't have time to try new techniques but would love to learn how to barely curl/lift up just part of a paper or photo. Carin- you can do text on a path in PSP--to a certain degree anyway. I use PSE 5 mostly but dabble a bit in PSP X. Great question Dani

I would love to know how to make those beautiful damask papers, like Michelle Underwood makes. Where do those patterns come from and how are they turned into paper?

Like Dani, I would love to know more about drop shadows--I have used the basic ones in PSE 3.0 (just installed 5.0) and wasn't to thrilled with them..and dabbled at creating my own--with limited success. I'd also love help with blending/fading photos together, folding ribbons/papers realistically, improving poor photos--adjusting levels, colors, lighting, etc., and basic design principles.

I ditto everyone on Carins list...there are so many fabulous scrappers out there to learn from!

Thanks for such a thought-provoking question!
