Carin you mean like 8x10 inches?
Are you printing at home? Does your printer print without leaving borders?

I've seen 8.5 x 11 and 5 x 7 albums that have sleeves you slip your LO into. Could you switch to a smaller square size? I started out as a letter size scrapper but was never really happy with the results and have pretty much moved to square but at the 8x8 size. Still do an occasional letter size though cause I have albums to fill.....if I ever get my LO's printed!

I scrap primarily in rectangle form (10x8) you can check out my gallery to see how the layouts look in that size

Carin, I used to create 8x10 (or 10x8) so I could print even though I liked working in square better. Then I saw a great tip on keeping track of elements used. Create your 8x8 page, then using an 8x10 layer, add the 8x8, a 2x2 thumbnail of your LO and use the remaining space to document your embellisments - (I even do the text of the info in the fonts that I used when I name the fonts). After you've printed the 8x10, cut off your info strip with a paper/photo cutter and file. Here is an example.

Because I prefere square LO's I create mine in 8x8 size and cut with a paper cutter. That way I can print out on my home printer. There are a lot of really nice 8x8 albums to choose from. And 8x8 albums make nice gifts, too...and they aren't as big and bulky as the 12x12 to take up so much space.

I create at 12x12 but print at 8x8 at home too
Otherwise the rectangle optiosn are generally 8x10 or if you have a borderless printer then 8.5 by 11

I do 6x8 and print at home. Albums are a bit hard to find (at least here in oz), but its a great portable size for brag books...
