Clue us in...Please!

I LOVE browsing the gallery and posting to LO's that catch my eye,
and of course, leaving some love to those who leave me some.
But I do have one little itty bitty pet peeve!
As much as I enjoy the LO's, it would be so much MORE enjoyable if
everyone would leave at least SOME info about the photos.
I've laughed, I've cried, I've been motivated and inspired, and I've
been given a glimpse into the lives of the scrappers whom I admire,
through the words they leave under their LO's!
I have viewed some awesome LO's and have NO CLUE as to the why,
what, where, etc!
I know most do inform as to the photo, but I feel like I have missed
a lot by not knowing!
Am I the only one who feels this way?

(((Hugs))) to all,
Toni

Hi Toni, sometimes I wonder what's behind the photo as well, other times I do not since the layout speaks for itself....

Yes I feel that way also on some LO's! I love journaling that tells the story of the photo or event!

When I browse the gallery I'm usually drawn to the LOs with journaling because I like "to know. " I've often seen LOs where a lovely description was given in the notes about the LO and I've left a suggestion to put that info right on the LO. It's just my opinion but a picture on a LO without some type of journaling is not much different than a picture in a box to someone looking at it in the future.

Silly I know you left me that comment once, and since then my scrappages for the kids albums always contain journaling

I'm riding the fence. I do a lot of scrapping for the sheer enjoyment and not necessarily for future generations (that's what my chronological albums with the anal names, dates and places written on them are for), so there may not be a point or story to some layouts. I do try to say something. However, I have clicked on some layouts and didn't know how to comment because I didn't have a clue what the layout was about. I guess people will reveal as much or as little to suit their comfort level.

You make a good point. But I have been in the same boat as you a lo with Nada listed makes it harder to comment..... Even if it is about nothing or just for fun... a little This i did just for fun would work for me.

Maybe I am the odd one here in that I almost ALWAYS give a description of EVERY layout because, to me anyway, EVERY picture I take has SOME memory or SOME significance to it even if it is just a cheesy lil snapshot of my kids or pets or whatever.....i completely agree, I LOVE reading the "who, what, when, where, and why" behind people's layouts...
lol but i have been teased about leaving long comments so *shrugs* i am just as guilty for being long winded in my comments to people as I am in my description of my layouts,....imagine that ....
