Question 4x6 Layouts

I have never done a layout this size and wondered what success people have had - I have volunteered to create 29 albums for my duaghter's 8th grade graduating class and in the interest of cost and time, figured this would be the easiest.

What do you think? Any binding ideas?

Thanks!

I wouldn't necessarily bind them, but put them into an inexpensive photo album - they sell for $.99-1.99 at Michaels, Target, Walmart, etc. I like doing 4x6 layouts because they are so affordable and it's a great size for the kids to have to show as their own personal brag book. I did an annual one for my kids last year and it's such a big hit with all of our friends and family. I've already started on this year's too so as not to be scrambling at the end. There are lots of template ideas out there and also some pages you can prepurchase in this size - PM me if you need some leads.

I've done a couple of these. I also used the inexpensive photo albums. I found that it's best to use fewer embelishments and make the photo pretty much fill the page. Otherwise the photos are too small. I've also used 2-up albums and put the photo in the top space and the journaling in the bottom space. That leaves plenty of room for both the photo and the journaling. Here's an example

Here's another example of carrying the layout across 2 spaces.

Hope this helps.
