where are they going?
I am using windows XP and when I minimise something it just disappears. But when i reopen the program it is just where i left it... So where are my little minimised things that should be at the bottom going? And how do i get them back.

Check Tools> Toolbars> Status Bar and that should bring it back

Is it only one type of window....say a word.doc or a certain program? Or is it anything and everything you Minimize?
Did you happen to inadvertantly drag that window down off your screen area at one time?
