Am I alone....with my ancient CRT??
Just wondering if I am the only one using a CRT monitor? lol! I sooo want an LCD - but am not totally convinced it is the best choice! I seem to know what I need/want..... Anybody have any opinions, best models, anything - I want to hear it!!

LOL Holly I am not an expert by any means but I just bought my new CRT monitor 2 years ago and love it!
I just am not sure that I would like a LCD monitor with all those truely bright colors and lights!! hehehehe However I hear that many are very happy scrapping with their LCD colors...!

When LCD monitors first came out they were not as good for those of us working with photos. Today they are very good. However, you should get a DVI one which may require that you put a DVI card in your computer. To play if safe...get one when you buy your next computer.

I don't know much about specs and stuff with moniters, but i do know i love my LCD!!! I have a 21inch Westinghouse model. Dh bought it for me for Valentine's day last year...and yep, I was super excited about this non-romantic gift!

I'm using a CRT as well. Its old, and it has some scratches, but this thing has served me well.
I'm planning on buying a new CRT sometime at the beginning of the new year.

I have a 15 in. Planar PE1500 and I LOVE it!! I use to have a CRT before this, and theres no way I will ever go back to one again! The pictures and color is just alot better with the screen I have now...

maybe it was the first ones..but is the color true when you print?? I've heard the LCD's aren't true to color for scrappin?? Tell me I'm wrong as I think our desktop is on it's last leg!!
