Question Printing help!

I am new here so if this seems like some really dumb questions, sorry.

I have been working on a calendar to create for a chritmas present. My questions is, where in the world do I go to print it??? Is it printed on card stock paper or regular photo paper?

Also, I am working with PSP, and when I am done do I save the file as a .psp or do I convert it to a .jpeg?

Thanks!

print it on either.. I print 5x7 calendards on matte paper from red river and they come out fantastic.. have a nice "non-photo" like appearance but given that it is photo paper.. the color is awesome.

That is OK. It took me forever to figure out how to find the old threads. Now just my 2 cents i print them at home and just have them bound at the print shop. But that is just me

Curious.. what printer do you use to print at home on? Are they archival? given the price of 13" paper and the fact you need to cut.. if it isn't archival on top of that - I understand the nicety of haivng the results immediatey.. but in the end, it just isn't that cost effective. I've done lots of research on this for my photo business and even with my quantity - I still save around $30 per shoot by printing them professionally versus at home with archival equipment.

I hear ya.. but for the same price, you could have it professionlaly printed and archival.. that's my only point.
