PSE 4 selection

When I use the rectange selection tool in PSE and it isn't quite right, is there any way I can move the selection without starting all over?

Thanks for your help!

You should be able to just use a move tool and drag the box around..

I think I understand your question... When using the marquee tool you select the area and then decide you want to move it to a different area of the paper etc. is that right?

The move tool doesn't work for me in PSE4 it just cuts the selection and moves that.

I don't have the answer....I haven't found a quick shortcut yet.(I don't think there is anything to do but start over).

I'm not sure about PSE 4, but in 3 once you draw out your rectangle with the marquee tool, leave marquee tool selected and move your arrow inside the selection box, buy your little curser arrow a small icon dotted box appears, that will then allow you to move/drag your selection box around without cutting it.

You can move the area of marching ants as long as you have a visible layer selected in your palette. You cannot resize the marching ants with the selection tool. Probably not much help, but that is all I could think of at the moment.
