Retouching a photo and wondered if anyone could make the hair a deep brown for me. I have tried and it looks like crapola.

I'm certainly no expert, but here's my go at it. I set my both my brush and layer on color mode, then I set another layer on multiply mode and lowered the opacity of it.

Here's my try, I removed that little fly away hair on the side...hehehe no little girl wants to be remembered with a bad hair day!
Oh I also fixed the sidewalk and grass..oops now I see that I should have added some grass infringing on the edge of the sidewalk...sorry and cropped the photo..added a little digital camera noise removal and I just don't know when to stop playing with photo's!
