anyone scraping there x-mass? or crafting?

I have decided to make most of my gifts this year. I love being able to give everyone a gift but its just soo expensive. I know some people really hate hand made gifts but I just adore them.
so far I am
makeing soaps ( from scratch lye soap, yet another hobby of mine)
Scraping an albulm for my dad with some pics in it of my chiledhood that he lost in the devorce.
Scraping an page and exceseries of my brother-in-laws dog (there pride and joy).
Scraping and folder about digital scraping for a friend of mine who is intrested.
scraping an family tree albulm for my MIL.

anybody else doing anything of the like? Care to share? I could really use some push and shove to keep motivated or else ill never finish.

I am...

I am making my christmas cards (these for only family and close friends) using actual card and poinsetta medallion stamps.

Im making calendars for the grandmothers : these are made with 8x8 LO's on the top and calendar pages on the bottom (using same kit) they will be wire bound so they flip. and pages will be perferated so at the end of the year they can be saved and put in the grandmas scrapbooks.

That is about as adventurous as i have gotten so far.

Jess

Well, I am NOT crafty but I am doing layouts 8x10 then going to print 1 page calendars, full page calendars and might try a clock and CD calendar. HUH I kind of doubt I will get all that done though!

I also am doing 2007 calendars for about 8 people. They will be 8.5x11 landscape. I'm doing photo and kit on top page and calandar grid and kit on bottom. So all pages will be double sided. I will print on white cardstock and have spiral bound so you can flip.

I have designed pages and now have to print.

I'm making calendars for family from Fhung Lie's 2007 Calendar kit. I'm also making sewing kits using aluminum tins (think Altoids) and alcohol inks for my office friends. I make jewelry so everyone always expects at least one piece of jewelry from me.

I LOVE handmade gifts. And my circle of family and friends gets genuinely upset if I don't include at least one handmade present! One year I only gave "store bought" presents and by the following August I was already hearing, "You are going to make your presents this year, aren't you?"

I usually do something every Christmas. Last year I did gold leafing for everyone. Not sure this year.

I am thinking about getting a couple of those digital frames for my 2 MILs. For the one I'd only need to do pictures. The other I could get away with layouts.

I also am considering doing the CD case calendars. Those are pretty neat. Not sure though. Dh would like that as would my MIL and probably my SIL.

I will be making even more fleece throws this year. I still need to do one for my my sister.

I was hoping to make quilts for the boys' new bedrooms (we are finished painting the older 2 boys' rooms) but I don't think I'll have time.

I also have a picture quilt I started 2 years ago for my grandparents that I haven't finished. I'll likely update (add more) pictures and finish that up.

I want to knit my brother and my father christmas stockings. My brother is away from home, so I thought it would be a nice jesture as he won't have one other wise. And I found a neat pattern for one like my father's original that I want to do as his is well aged. I am not sure I'll get my father's done, but my brother's should be fairly quick.

I am just not sure what all I am doing. I am trying not to think about about it. I am in denial.
