Which designers have their 2007 calendar kits (not CD kind) out already? I looked for Fhung Lie's, but didn't see it in the store. Any others out yet?

hmmmmm VERY GOOD QUESTION!!!! That is another great thing to do as a gift.... Hopefully more holiday themed stuff will be along in the next month or so or I'M SURE I won't get things done in time for as long as it takes me!

Another great gift idea is to do the photo layout tiles.
I get a 6x6 tile, reduce one of my 8x8 LO's to fit, print it on photo paper, then adhere with Spray Adhesive and then give it a coating of Spray Acrylic -- I got the tiles, spray adhesive and the spray acrylic at the hardware store. Then, if I get really fancy, I adhere a little plate hanger I got at the craft store. Family LOVES them because they can hang right on the wall and stand out a little from framed photos.

The photo tumblers are another good one -- I am doing one of those for my dad for his birthday -- they have some for $3 at Oriental Trading Co -- so a search on "travel mug" and you'll find them -- MUCH cheaper than Starbucks', and still pretty nice looking.

Absolutely, Lisa! And sometimes you can even find those photo mugs in the dollar store if you hit it at the right time.

Can I plug the ezine here? In the Nov. Issue, there will be a FREE calendar for you do download. Each month is a pagebyte- all you have to do is drop in your photo and then print the calendar or take to a printer and done!

Botht the Nov and Dec issues will have some quick-type gift ideas for you to make using your computers. Check them out if you can wait that long

Blogging Too!

What a great thread - difinitely getting some ideas here. I usually bake my famous rum cakes for the neighbors and my DH's office. I make cards for my close friends and family .

Last year I made a few of my friends door hangers out of small padded picture frames and ribbon with a picture and saying that fit their personality and I scrapped a page about it here. I'll probably make these for my staff.

My closest friends are going with me and DH on a cruise in November so they will surely get a scrapbook of the trip. Whew, I'm tired just thinking about it!!!

I'm willing to share, but the key word is "finished"!!! Who knows when that will be. Even starting this early I usually manage to end up in a mad rush getting things finished. But I'll post picture when I do. But you have to post pictures too!!
