I had a "DUH?" moment last night while trying to sort through gazillions of kits. I organize them in folders by designer. Why not use the keyword feature in the software we already use to organize all of the stuff we collect? I set up a "scrapbooking" keyword, then added keywords for "paper", "brads", "overlays", and so on so I can preserve the designer information and keep my kits together but also be able to search for a specific item when I need it. You can also add information like color ("warm", "cool", "neutral"), texture ("grunge", "chrome"), and any other attribute. Holy moley, I can find things in a snap now and feel so energized to scrap! All I have to say is, DUH!

I use PSCS and it doesn't recognize files that aren't jpgs, like pngs. Am I doing something wrong that will make it recognize other file types? I'm using PS Album to tag everything, but can't stay caught up!
