Hi y'all,

I've been a paper scrapper for over 20 years and switched to digi a couple of months ago. I have ALWAYS had trouble with design - balancing a page and making it appealing to the eye. Can anyone recommend a book that would be helpful on the subject of layout design? Website recommendations are welcome too, but I want something I can hold in my hands too

cathy zielske's Clean & SImple Scrapbooking and Clean & Simple Scrapbooking the Sequel are EXCELLENT....and a free idea is to just cruise the galleries, find a LO you like and mimic it!

The concepts for deisgn in digital are exactly the same as paper Ali Edwards Designing Eye for Scrapbookers ( Creating keepsakes) is terrific - and a 2nd volume us coming soon, as well as Cathy's recommended above. simple scrabooks also has designing scrapboks 1 and 2 which i found great - and the Scrapbooking with color issue too.
If your a subscriber , download all the old ezine issues that were just made available - each has an article on various aspects of design.
