Something nice for a fellow scrapper

Hi all...
If you are not a chat freak, you probably don't know me, but I am TheScrappinHillbilly...
I got wind of something very heartbreaking the other day...One of our very own chat girls is going through a VERY rough time...
They found out that her 2 yr old son, Shane, had a brain tumor...They were able to remove most of it, but he now has to undergo chemotherapy (after they clear up an infection that he as developed)...all this info is on her blog...her ID here is ScrappinMomma I think....
She was very active in chats and such (her icon was always cuffs for those of you who have ever left bold on or used a bright color during a launch chat....lol)...
She was always funny and friendly and as a mom and woman, what she is going through breaks my heart...
Last night around midnight there were a few of us in the chat room (lol us addicts who are unwilling to change our ways regardless of whether there is a scheduled chat or not...lol) and we decided to make "we are thinking about you" cards, LOs, or ATCs for Keely...
I do not know her personally, but like I said as a mom and a woman, my heart goes out to her...IF you would like to make a card, ATC, or layout for her, please do! (we posted ours in the impromptu gallery under "crops & challenges" "crops" just so they would all be in one place and easy to link her to.....)...
Hope this is ok!
Thank you so much to those who participated and those who want to now!
Hugs all! Be praying!

This is very heartbreaking news, I'll keep her and her son Shane in my prayers. Thank you for letting us know.

Folks, there is a way you can help if you like. Gas cards would be very very helpful with all the trips to the hospital ahead of them, as well as any toys geared toward the 2-3 yr old level. Remember, Shane is Deaf, so noisemakers wouldn't be terribly beneficial unless they were interactive in some other way as well. Paints, play doh, giant legos, little trucks, cars, whathaveyou. She has a LOT of time she's going to need to keep im entertained in the hospital, and that won't be easy. Gas stations that are national chains and near here would be Getty, ess and 7-Eleven. If you would like to do this, pm me and I will give you my mailing addy, and will forward your cards along to her asap.

Hmmm, that is a good question. Not being able to post her email addy, I don't know if she hs a PayPal acct or not. If you want to make a donation, try entering her sbb username at paypal, it may work as she uses it at sites oher than here. If not, and you're okay with it, you can send it to my paypal addy, just enter KEELY in the notes section, along with your name and mailing addy or email addy so I can pass it along to her. Just pm me and I will give you that info if you decide to go that route.
