Red face Printing a 12 x 12 sheet

Hello. I am TOTALLY new to scrapbooking. I haven't even purchased a book yet! I wanted to do my homework before I immersed myself in something new. If you're doing digital SBing and SB pages are 12 x 12, how do you get those to print when your printer is only wide enough for 8.5 x 11? Do I need to buy a different printer? I hope not, because this is brand new, LOL. Sorry for such a silly question. I've got a lot to learn. Thank you so much for your help.

You can always resize your pages down to 8x8 and print them that way. A lot of people prefer that size.

Thank you for your reply. I'm assuming then that there are printers that do a 12 x 12 sheet? I wish I would have thought of this before buying mine, LOL.

There are printers that print 12x12, but they are fairly expensive. I have the Epson 1280, but I had already purchased it prior to digi scrapping. Many of the members here, take theirs to Walmart, Costco, etc. to have them printed. It just depends on how much you want to spend. Hope this helps!

Really??? I would have never thought of that. Hmmm, now I hate to keep adding queston upon question, but how much does something like that cost? Do you just take in a CD or how does that work, Please? Thanks for all your help.

I, too, have the Epson 1280, but have recently switched to having my LOs printed at Scrapbooks to Share (sbtoshare) because I really like their quality and their prices are very competitive to what it costs me to print at home.

Hi,

I scrap in 12x12 and print at Costco. They charge $2.99 per page and their quality is great! You can take a CD in but I just upload to them online then they are ready when I go and pick them up. If you do this note that their printing size is actually 12x18 then you cut off the extra inches.

Good luck!
