I'm making a slideshow for a wonderful couple of their wedding i shot on the 20th. I think this could be pretty useful for others who make slideshows too!

So im searching for the all time best wedding songs that have been ACTUALLY used in weddings, the ones that mean something to people so much they had to have it in their ceremony!


Craig and I were married on Aug. 10th, 2001 but we had our ceremony on December 10th, 2001. Our wedding songs were by Nat King Cole: When I Fall In Love, and Unforgettable.

Tonee, my husband and I were married on April 13th, 2002 and our song was (and still is) "I Do" by Mark Wills (the country version )

My sil sang "The Prayer" with her then-fiance during our unity candle. I absolutely positively LOVE this song! It is SO beautiful!

And, this isn't going to really work for your slideshow, but the other special song at our reception was "Back to Pooh Corner" that I danced to with our twins.

p.s. my youngest son was born on Dec 10th (but in 2002)

at our wedding in '99 we had Shania Twain's "From this Moment" - that's our song. and we also had the Barbra Streisand song...oh what's the name.... I've Dreamed of You - that she wrote for her husband. Gorgeous song.

A song I wish we could have had at our wedding- it wasn't written yet- is "I will be Here" by Steven Curtis Chapman. He is a Christian Artist but its a song he wrote to his wife and I've heard it in several weddings now. It is one of my husbands favorites too.
