Really clueless I guess

Hi everyone.
I have been browsing ALOT and really trying to figure out PSPx. I thought I had it, so I downloaded some paper and kits to get started. Well, now when I try to open the file to add the paper as my background, it says file is not supported. How do I do this?
TIA

OH, also, where is the deform tool in PSPx?

The Pick tool replaced the Deform tool and the Object selector tool in PSP X. The Pick tool will work on both raster and vector objects.

Just a wild guess on the file not opening: Are you trying to open the file from within a zip file? You have to take extract files from a zip file before they will open in other programs.

Paper images should be .jpg's
Elements: Buttons, ribbons, tags. overlays, inked edges, etc are .png's.
