I don't have a little boy, but two little girls. One is almost 10 years old, the other one is almost 2 years old. I have noticed that I do way more layouts of my baby than I do of my older one. I also have way more pictures of the baby than of the older one. I am really feeling guilty about this. The other day, I had just finished yet another layout of the baby, I told my older one that the next layout will be of her. She answered "that's O.K., mom, she's much cuter anyways." Oh no ... does she really feel this way, does she think she's not as cute as the baby or was she just being nice. I have no idea, but I do know that I have to make an effort of doing more layouts of the older one.

I "try" & make it equal, but my problem is I LOVE doing girly lo's (like everyone else) & Jazmyne hams it up for the camera more so I feel like hers stand out more then Dominique lol (so I've been trying to get some more good ones of Dom, which I have & with be scraping them soon)!
My son does have less of them thou, but thats b/c I have 2 girls. I try & do them alone, both girls, all three, & one of each of the girls with my son, same goes with mommy & daddy.........man thats alot of work lol! Don't feel guilty she's the baby & a girl & your son's lo are GREAT & stand out just as much as hers.

I love hearing everyone's answers! Because of this thread, I went and did a LO of Nick tonight, but I'll post tomorrow. It's not very flattering though, it's more typical of him these days though. LOL

I was thinking about this the other day when I did the "I will love you forever" LO about Olivia. I loved how it turned out and then started thinking, "Hey, she's not the only kid in the house, of course I'll love Nick forever too!", so I did one for him also. It was the same with my "Thankful" LO's, I did Olivia's and realized she's not the only one in the house I'm thankful for, so I did one about Nick and one about Will also.

I have one son and one daughter (both grown). I have more pics of my DD than I do of DS as he has always (and still does) hated his pic taken. For this reason I have put off scrapping many photos of them. My son makes threats on occasion that I better not be making LO's of him and putting them on "those websites". I mostly scrap my grandson and since he is my only grandchild, except for my two step-grandchildren, there's no keeping track. Although I believe SGD Tyffany is beginning to become jealous that I do not scrap more of her. I also scrap my great-niece and two great-nephews. In this department Brayden is way ahead. My sister and I spent months making LO's of Brayden for an album to be given to his mother at Christmas. Guess I need to pay more attention and even things up a bit.

i believe I might be an opposite as my youngest is the boy and i have had a digital camer since he was six mths. My DD had 4 ordinary paper photoalbums by the age of 4 - and now both have one huge office folder each for every year. My 10 yr DD don't want her photos taken anymore - making her brother doing the same Causing mommy dearest some more gray hairs as she don't get the photos she wants !

So far this year I have made 150 LO's and i took a look in my folder - and it seems i have scrapped 50/50 - and quite a few this year has both kids on them.

I scrap more of my daughter for many of the same reasons that have already been listed. There are many more girl items available. She doesn't always run when I get the camera out. And ideas come more easily with her. Yes, I do feel guilty about it often.

I've got nothing but boys around here but I do check to make sure I do equal numbers of layouts for each kid.

When I get in the mood to scrap pink girly girl stuff I have to do pictures of my neices!
