New here and to digital

Hello my name is Mandy. I am new to your forums and new to digital scrapbooking. I have been a paper scrapper for 10 years. I just recently took up an interest in digital. I am trying to decide if I should buy psp x or adobe elements to get started.
One of my concerns though is once I print out my completed page wont I be disappointed with how flat it is. I am a very, very lumpy scrapper and like lots of texture.
I have also read you can print out each element and then piece together your page. I plan on trying this also.

Welcome Mandy - you're going to love it here. As far as selecting a program, many come with free trials so check their web site. There are a lots of tutorials for all of them here and you can always ask questions in this forum. Regarding the texture, I've seen many pages from the talented folks on this site that look like you can reach out and touch them so it can be done - check the gallery and if you see something you can usually pm the poster for help. Look forward to seeing your LOs.

Texture is the reason why I don't think I could get some of my

paper scrapping friends to switch to digital. That's ok, though.

All you can do is try it and see if you like it.

For me, it isn't about the physical texture! I can recreate the papers to LOOK like that texture, where you just want to rub it to see if it is real. But you might not want that, you might want to be able to touch it. That is ok too.

Like I said, all you can do is try it and see if you like it.

I'd also recommend using the free trials for the programs you are interested in.
