As far as photo size I use whatever fits my layout and change it a million times while I work. Do I think this makes is unrealistic? Nope. Look through mags. There is a lot of creative cropping and such going on. A good majority of photos don't necessarily stay at 8x10, etc. For me it is much more important to have my photos' size work to create good balance and design than to be a size of a normal print. As it is I think if I did do film pictures, etc. I would probably be blowing pics up and cropping them anyways and they would never be a standard size anyways.
