Unhappy Printer output color question

I made a small set of layouts (8x8) for my husband's cousin and his new wife, as a wedding gift. I made them 8x8 so that I could forego printing somewhere else, and print them at home. Unfortunately, I still may need to print somewhere else, because my printer is taking a blue sky with light clouds and giving it a RED outline?? I have tried printing it two separate times (and no my printer cartridges are not running low...) Also I used a faded edge (soft, in DIP) around the picture and it 'saw' the edge any way and also gave that some red coloring!

What could cause this, and is there a way to fix it? If my printer is reading color where there isn't/shouldn't be any, will WalMart or Costco's too? I'm really not sure what to do except spend a buck to find out!

I have no idea what could be happening unless. Did you replace the sky by any chance?
If you zoom in on the edges of the sky does the red show on the monitor? NOt usre where else to go with that one.

have you cleaned the heads on your printer? if it has sat for a while the ink could be clogging and needs to be cleaned.
