Unhappy My camera is AWOL!!

I totally organized and "prettied up" my space (I'd show you, but no camera . . .) and had the camera sitting right next to the hard drive and now it is gone!! DH installed a DVD burner (also very exciting) and had trouble getting the cover off. He remembers seeing the camera when he was working on it ... but now??? Definitely haven't taken any photos (the card is still in the card reader) and neither of remember doing anything with it (but that doen't always mean a lot) Searched EVERYWHERE!! My only hope is that our friend who helped get the cover off, remebers seeing DH move it some place silly. It's got to turn up, right????? I feel lost!!! Could use some good thoughts!!

Oh Amy!!!! I totally feel for you! Happy thoughts being sent your way!!!!

Suggestions: Don't think about your camera for a couple of hours (I know it's hard). Just do what you normally do around the house; it may just show up where you least expect it! Good luck!

Thanks, Rona. Good advice. Eating a whole box of girl scout thin mints probably won't help, either!!

Maybe the person put the camera inside empty DVD burner box....

This reminds of time when my MIL house sat for us over the weekend. Since we just remodeled the kitchen & bathroom, she wanted to show it to her friends. She also wanted our house to look like a showroom home so tuck things away. On the day we were scheduled to come home, she left before we got there. On the first morning we were back I noticed my coffee maker, soy bean milk maker, and blender were missing but I found them easily. That evening I noticed my rice cooker was missing and I looked all over the kitchen and couldn't find. So I assumed that it died and good riddance because I never wanted that rice cooker but MIL gave it to us so DH insisted that we keep it and use it. Anyway, by the weekend when I started cleaning the bathroom, I opened the BATHROOM cabinet and what do I find?.....the rice cooker....

Is it that important to have a showroom home? I like to have the things I use every single day to be out on the counter for easy access.

Good luck on finding your camera. It'll turn up in the weirdest place!
