Talking Utterly new to CS!

My name is Bonnie and I've been reading about CS'ing for almost 2 years. But I've got 4 kids and I barely have time to find a bathroom moment! Well, now that the youngest is able to walk and play alone I think I'll try my hand at it. After researching so many different forums I found this one to be the BEST!

So here I am to learn and hopefully get the kids photos, etc in a scrapbook somehow!

My kids are Francesca, 18 months; Isabella, 2 1/2, Matthew (he's 4 years old today!!) and Christian is 11.

My husband and I also own a fine dining restaurant & I'd like to do a scrapbook for that also!

Any hints on best places to start would be much appreciated. I've got PSP and am pretty familiar with it as a previous web site designer for my gift shop but I'm not good with all the capabilities it's got...

Okay I'm rambling and I've got to get the kids to nap...

Glad to be here!

Wow! A restaurant? You must work SO hard. I'm a huge foodie and i can hardly wait to see your first LO of your restaurant.

As to where to start, I suggest checking out the "tutorial" section. There's a getting started tutorial there that should help you get your first LO done. Other than that, just post your questions on the boards.

Welcome!

Glad to have you here, Bonnie and Natasha!

Bonnie, WOW 4 kids and a restaurant!!! You definitely need to do your scrapbooking on the computer 'cause it can save you time.

I just started doing this myself and was told to just start with the present day pics I had. I scrapped our summer into a "family" book and it worked very well for me. Down the line, I will compile a book for each of my kids, and will be able to duplicate a few of the pages I've already done in their books.

Just dive in - and don't let anyone tell you that you need to be "caught up". There will always be pages to scrap...

Thanks for the replies! I'm so anxious to get started and I have a few current photos I'm going to start with; I've printed some tutorials! Once I get home from my son's birthday dinner I'll start learning using PSP 7.

Off to eat and then to scrap!
