Laura, your bacgeound is cute..... do you use that whole image as the background though? all you need is the first 'strip' at the top (if you know what I mean) it should automatically tile itself all the way down. A side-bar background is long sideways and thin.

I'll attach an example of one I have so you can see what I mean. It's a Cat background that I found somewhere years ago.... I can't remember where.

It looks great!!!

But as ShezB said, you dont need to use that whole image as your background. You will use the whole width of it bit crop the length down to about 200px. It should still tile seamless.

What would I do without all you guys.

Something so simple, and I had to make it difficult.

The original was 1000 x 1000, and it fit great for web purposes, so I guess making it 1000 x 100 or 200 should make it so it can tile seamless.

The image I uploaded is smaller than original, I did have to make it small enough to upload, but DUH, if I had done the way everyone is telling me then I wouldn't have had to resize.

I learned that lesson.
