new here with questions

Hi
I'm new here.
Please let me start by saying, I love this site. You folks are so talented.
I am not new to scrapbooking but am new to computer scrapbooking. At this point I only use only Printmaster and then I cut and paste. I have really become interested in digital scrapbooking since I went to a digital camera.
I am interested in finding out wich programs you prefer, which will offer the moderately comupter literate person the best value.
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Sandra aka Grannie Sandy

A lot of use Photoshop, but it is expensive and has a rather steep learning curve. Photoshop Elements is relatively cheap (May have even been included in a scanner or digital camera purchase) and has many of the same capabilities, therefore also a relatively steep learning curving.

Others use Paint Shop Pro, Picture It or Digital Image Pro.

Welcome! I highly recommend Microsoft Digital Image Pro for beginners. It is easy to use and has great capabililties. Design Team Member Shelleyrae uses DIP exclusively. You can check out her gallery Here

Hi Sandra

I still consider myself a newbie here too, been here since July but there is soooooo much to learn and so many awesome ladies and gents that do such awesome work.

I too am doing my CG LO's in Printmaster for now, I have used it for years but I want to purchase Digital Image Pro, it's on my x-mas list, so hopefully Santa will bring it to me.

I paper scrapbook too but I enjoy both mediums.

Have a great week, Kay
