Boy, what a shock to see that this morning! I understood it was meant to be encouraging, to participate more fully. But when I discovered the same message on every page I visited, even the gallery where I left several comments last night, I was more than disconcerted...I was really hurt! That message was IN MY FACE everywhere I went, making me feel sooo pressured.

I am a quiet person in real life. Any question I might have had has been answered one way or another without my posting. I choose not to share my few layouts because I do not want to compromise my family's privacy. I do make comments in the gallery. Out of 48,805 members here, why should anyone care whether I post or not!

I've been crying all day, and even now as I type. I am really hurt that someone here feels that I have to be pressured on every page with that message to be and do something other than the unique person I am. I am not only a registered member here, I am a subscriber, too. Is that not enough? And now, I am even less likely to participate in anything at all.

I am sooo disappointed and hurt at the blatent pressure. Is it not possible to be accepting of people who are quiet? I can't even begin to tell you how bad I feel.....

it isn't meant to be that at all - we just installed this last night and my daughter has croup and may need to alter some of their wording that came standard. sorry that you felt it was so personal as it wasn't that at all.

Hi Peggy! It sounds like it was just a glitch that it showed up on every page. I am certain it was nothing personal. I am sure that there is some kind of computer program that determines who exactly recieves this message.

Yes it is pos for the quiet to be accepted. I also do not post a lot. and keep my LO to myself... but i still feel to some degree that i am accepted... well a few people know who i am Please don't cry. Though i know how hard it is to stop. I have also been crying all day but for a different reason. I say feel free to do as much as you feel comfortable with and I am sure that others would agree with me. Awww...that's really sad, Peggy! Hopefully you will feel better after you read the explanation of why that happened I'm so sorry that you took it so personally, and I hope that you will reconsider not participating here as much!

Amy, I hope everyone in your household gets better soon!! I've got a killer head cold right now, and my daughter is sick too...my hubby and son are trying not to get it from us There always seems to be SO much sickness going around...*sigh*
