If you have a michaels craft store near you they have some really pretty decorated 3 ring binders.

I use them but i cover them. I use fabric and decorate my albums as well!!!

I've always used a D-ring Album (not binder...albums are nicer) for my pages...but I love the Dalee Albums (post-bound top loading lots of different covers, colors, etc.) and I've seen some really nice ones by Pioneer as well (not the plastic cover ones..they have some nice ones!)

I just got started scrapping in January, and never scrapped paper. So I had all these print outs sitting in a folder, and decided I needed some albums! I don't have an LSS near me, or even a Michael's. When I finally got to an A.C. Moore, I found they hadvery pretty mulberry paper covered top loading, postbound 8.5x11" albums. I really like them so far. My sister is a CMC and she did our wedding and honeymoon album in a 12x12 straphinge album, and I don't like it as much. The post bound style is a lot easier, I've found. So far at least. I like that the pages lay flat when the album is open and that the gutter in between pages isn't too wide.

HTH!

8 x 10's

Hi!
I only use 8 x 10's for all my scrapping. For my fanciest ( and most expensive) books I use the 3 ring 8 x 10 by Kolo. They are more pricey but really nice. (They offer a samll "window" on the cover where you can make a nice title/cover piece, too.)

For my other books I use 3 ring Pulp Paper Prodcuts. they come in nice 2-color fabric combinations. They are very attractive.
