Ok I need help uploading...

I have read in MANY places how to upload the pic to the gallery. I resized and it uploaded, but WHY won't my big one show up?? Am I supposed to upload 2 at the same time, one small and one big? I am so confused!!

My LO can be seen here http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...p?photo=142167

Thanks for any help!

I can see your layout just fine, however, I did notice that your image was resized to 325x325 instead of 500x500. In PSE3 when you are resizing, make sure you set your pixel dimensions to 500x500 and lock it. That is what is making your image smaller.

There is the thumbnail view in the gallery and then when someone clicks on it there, they are taken to the page where they can see just your layout with the description and credits, etc.

The layout looks great, btw!

Thank you...LOL I figured it out that it is showing the "bigger one" but still not as big as I thought it would look...I have no clue if its just how I resized it. I went to 72 dpi and then had to put it at around 250 for the pixel size to get it at 122k. I guess that's what makes it so much smaller, but I wish it was bigger when you clicked on it. Does that make sense? Thanks for your input!

For PSE3, you have another option. You can resize your image to 7"x7" and 72 dpi (with having an 'x' in the little boxes). Then go "file", "save for web". Adjust the "quality" slider so that the image on the right hand side is just under 125kb. (The quality can range from about 65 to 85 depending on the layout) Hit OK, and name your file for uploading. You get a much nicer uploaded image this way every time you try. Hope this helps some

Also, you wanna check that your image quality when you are creating your jpg is correct. Usually it will be at about 9, but you can adjust it and see the difference any change makes by checking the area at the bottom of the options box. The file size changes as you change the number in the quality box.
