HELP! What size for Powerpoint Slideshow???

Hi all!
I need some help asap- I have been asked to make a slideshow of my photos for a big doula event. I have never really worked with powerpoint. I need to know what size I should have the photos set to? 300DPI? Or is it like viewing online and you only should have them at 72DPI?
