Question Layout File Size

As a newby, I want to know if I should sacrifice size or dpi to have a maximum file of 125k? I read else where that others typically post their LO's as a 9x9 at 70 dpi. What is the best?

welcome to SBB! When uploading your pages to the web you need to make sure that you are not changing your original file. You are only uploading a copy of that file for us to see. You will want to change it to 72dpi (optimal web-viewing) and I usually make mine 450-600 pixels wide or about 6" tall. That is usually a good size to view on the screen and still allow people to read the journaling (most of the time).
We hope you find our site helpful and an inspiration. I look forward to seeing your work!

Thanks

Thank you Amanda. I figured out just shortly after I posted that I was saving them in the highest quality of jpg so my files were hanging out in the 300-400k sizes. I'm sure I'll have many other dumb questions.

Not a dumb question! What program are you using? A high-quality .jpg is perfect for professional printing. Make sure you keep a copy of your page in the native format of your program with layers intact...just in case you ever want to change it.
