I hope this is the right forum -- I started just after Christmas 2005 - so I think I'm a newbie.


I am not really very happy with this one, but it's the only photo of my DH as a baby and a very bad one at that... I like the second page of this two page layout (posted In 1956) but this just seems flat. Since it will be the very beginning of the album I am making for his 50th birthday, I want it to be really special.

The first (and most valuable) lesson I learned in design school is that criticism is a good thing - so PLEASE feel free -- I can take it

Regarding page 1:

Not sure of the quality of the photo, but if you can you might try to get a closer view on the face of the baby. Even if you have to run it through a filter of any sort. The baby gets lost in the blankets/clothes. Other than that, I love the colors and the frames and the baby beads.... It's good!

maybe try a filter like pencil sketch on the pic? I like the layout but the face does get kind of lost.
