What kind of book do you keep your LO's in?

I was wondering what everyone uses to keep their LO's in.
I have a 3 ring binder with page protectors & I just bought a Canson(sp) spiral bound book with black pages 8X8 no protectors on this one. I'm not sure if I will secure the pages using photo corners of just glue them down.
So...I wanted to get some more ideas on how you girls are doing it.

Do you keep your books out...ie: on the coffee table
or do you just store them on the shelf.

Looking forward to hearing from you clever ladies.

Kisses
Wendy

I've always put mine in a D-ring album. Not just a binder...but an actual album (it's nice looking, padded etc.). But, I'm doing more and more two page layouts and I don't like the space in the middle so I think I'm going to switch to a top-loading post bound album. I really like the ones Dalee makes.

I use top-loading post-bound albums. I've used albums by CTMH, Dalee, and Mrs. Grossman.

I've switched from doing albums for each of my children to just one album for my family (although I am still working on a "baby" book for my 2 1/2 year old). Each kid can have a copy of the family album on CD when they are older! Because it is an album that includes everybody, I've started setting it out on my coffee table where it can be enjoyed.

well.....

I haven't put mine in any binders. All I can say, when I do, is something that looks good, won't wear out easy, and is easy to use.

All mine are being saved to CD right now. I know, not much help, but you did ask.....LOL.

Well I only have one album so far and I used the cheap scrap-book post "scrapbook" album that walmart has....bad idea mine fell apart when we moved out here the posts came right out of the backing and it got a gouge in the front as well as it soaked up some grease...I like the 12x12 top-loading post kind and will keep with that style because I like to do matching pages and sometimes I do panoramics BUT I'll go for something a little more high end next time with a leather or pleather at least back(not paper) and with sturdier construction.

Hey, Wendy!

How have you been? I use post bound, top loading. I really like that the pages lay flat and are close together because I almost always do a 2 page spread. I have several from CTMH and a couple smaller ones from Francis Meyer. They are both nice. But, I think the quality and sturdiness of the CTMH is a little better.

Hey there...

I use both or all.. ANY... I have over 11 albums and well I have be given, bought and found various albums and have used them all.
BUT WITH THAT SAID I am currently changing them all to coffee table style album that has black pages and have used glue dots to stick em in.....it looks great..
I scrap in 8.5 X11 due to current printer rescritions BUT
dh has promised to buy me a 12 X 12 no border printer for my bday in Nov.
In that case I have a 5 12 X 12 top loaders that I will fill up.
