I'm just curious as to how/why others choose to leave feedback. Do you look at the main gallery, or just specific gallery threads? Are you looking for specific techniques or kits to be used? Do you just comment on layouts that "hit" you?

Well, I have a lot of time on my hands right now - laid off for the winter. Every morning I just hit "todays gallery posts", and go to town!! I try to leave comments on most pages - everybody likes comments, and there is always something to comment on, on everyone's page - soooo much talent here!! I always comment on someones pages that leave me a comment - personally, I think it is just the proper, kind thing to do!

first I am here usually for chats or forms.
saying that In scrap chats, I post on all members that attended the chat while I was there and uploaded a layout.
then if scrounging for papers I look in gallery for layouts with papers that I like and comment on them
the only trouble with that is they list the designers, but I cant seem to find the kits.
I am lazy and hate looking for kits. Wish it would be listed on the layout with a link if it is here
I do not usually buy anywhere else

I go through the gallery every day and leave comments.

I always leave comments for my friends unless they're having a mega star day and already have more than a page of comments by the time I get there (Pattie & Jodi come to mind!! *lol*) because, by then, I feel intimidated by all the other comments already there and don't know what to say that's already been said. I know that sounds silly.

I also leave comments on any pages that (a) strike my fancy and (b) have lots of journaling or a striking photo. There are several people who I think of as artists, rather than 'just' scrappers, so I always hit their pages, too.

Lastly, I try to comment on beginning scrappers' layouts especially if they only have 1 or 2comments.

I try and go thru the gallery on a daily basis if possible, it may not be at the same time everyday. I enjoy looking at all of the layouts, everyone has their own style. As far as commenting, I don't go thru a persons specific gallery. Sometimes it will be a kit that's used that will grab my attention or just a scrapping style.

I always go to the "today's gallery posts" page. I always leave comments for people who have left comments on mine. I also try to hit LO's that have no comments or 1 or 2. I know I feel bad when I have worked hard on a LO and hardly get any comments.

I try to go through the gallery every day. I love the 90 view!! I was gone for 3 weeks and am just getting caught up. I have made lots of friends on this site and try to check every day for their layouts. I believe everyone deserves comments. I comment on as many as possible during the day. One thing that makes it difficult is the person who uploads 5 or more layouts at a time. It's hard to comment on all of them. I do comment on everyone who leaves comments on mine, and have made some wonderful friends that way. The people here are so nice. I love the gallery and have learned lots of great techniques from different people.

I go through the main gallery everyday. Usually I leave comments on things that just really catch my eye, whether it's the photo, kit they used, the composition, just whatever. I also try to leave comments for anyone who was in a crop/chat with me. I also try to scout out my friends to leave comments for them and I try to leave comments for everyone who leaves one for me.

I do admit I've been pretty lax on commenting this week though, only because Olivia has been really sick and I just don't have the time. I try to leave comments everyday though.
