I don't really know anyone here. I look thru the "new Gallery" pics every morning. I leave feedback when i see something that wows me, something that just pops to me. I don't have anyone specifically that i go to see, i just look thru the Gallery and leave feedback to what i emotionally respond to. I would love to leave feedback to everyone, but with 4 kids, im lucky to leave what comments i can.

I go to the main gallery (90 view) and comments on LO's that attract my attention for one reason or another. I also try to leave comments on the ones of people I know. I make it a rule that if I click on a LO and open it, I leave a comment. Otherwise I just view all the thumbnails. I try to leave as many comments as I can but could do better.

I'm random and inconsistent leaving feedback ... just whatever catches my eye.

I look at "todays gallery posts" and skim through them and once I see one that just HITS me, probably because of either the photos or the colors.. I then leave feedback.. Also I look through because I need the inspiration...

I look at Today's Gallery Posts, and also at My Photos. I try to leave comments on those layouts who didn't get any from anyone else. Generally they are beginners, or just fell through the cracks. I know I feel bad when I don't get any comments, so I like to spread comments around to others in the same boat.

I also comment back to anyone who comments to me. That is one of the best ways to become part of a commenting group. And I'm always interested in seeing what other people who comment to me are doing.

Finally, recently I've been looking at other rectangular scrappers. There aren't a lot of us these days, and I'm always interested in seeing what other people are doing with that shape, so if I see a rectangular layout, I'll almost always comment on it.

Thanks all for the insight. It's nice to know some of the unspoken etiquette of the site. I certainly understand that there's no way that someone could respond to each layout, there's just too many out there! I have been truly amazed at how many really great layouts there are on this site.

I am finally back to posting comments... sometimes harder when home-schooling lessons aren't going as well as planned. Most often, I will post comments on on the layouts of friends and CT team-mates, for those who attend crops/challenges with me, and those who have used my freebies first. Next, I track down the newbies who have really improved since they started, and then hit the awesome layouts that don't have tons of comments already. When leaving a comment, I honestly prefer to let them know exactly what I like about the layout instead of just a simple "good job". Takes more time that way, but it is nice to find out why people are attracted to your layout, and allows you to use that certain technique or design more often to improve future layouts. But that is just my small opinion...

I work full time, so I don't have a lot of time to leave comments. Plus, I like to leave comments that really single out parts of the l/o that I like.

Soooo...when I get a chance, I do the "today's l/o" thing, and then leave comments on the l/o that grab me. I do try to especially pick out posts that don't have many comments.
