Orphaned page

I tend to be a chronological scrapper. When I'm working on a particular event or holiday, I end up with a combination of 2-page spreads as well as single pages. When I have the subject done, I 'll print out the pages to put in an album. Here's where the problem lies. Sometimes I'll find that to put them in the album in order and to keep the 2-page spreads together, I'll end up with an orphaned page. Anyone else encounter this?

I usually do double page layouts. Often times I have a good idea for one page and then struggle to complete the second page, or I have a really good picture good for one layout and nothing for the counter part page. I am kind of anal about keeping my albums looking consistent, and so it does happen that I have blanks now and then. However, I am constantly on the brawl for new ideas to fill in those blanks.
