A word about pixel's, and resizing images

A few days ago I posted the question about how you can resize an image without affeting the quality of the image. I made it my mission to get this information, so I contacted Ofoto.com and this is what they said, I hope this is helpful to everyone:
Hello,

Thank you for contacting the Ofoto Customer Service Team. We recommend
that you do not reduce the size of your photos when uploading them for
print. After you upload your photos and share them online with friends
and family, Ofoto will resize them for optimal web viewing.

The images you are viewing on the site are smaller versions of the
original uploaded digital photos Ofoto uses for printing. Smaller files
are used on the website to keep Web access at an optimal rate while you
view, share, and order prints of your photos.

Ofoto printing: Our native pixel dimensions for printing are as follows:

4 x 6" print = 1200 x 1800 pixels
5 x 7" print = 1500 x 2100 pixels
8 x 10" print = 2400 x 3000 pixels

Any images uploaded beyond these resolutions will not result in higher
quality prints.

Recommended: We have found that the following pixel dimensions work well
with our printing service, and recommend that you upload images that
meet or exceed these numbers:

4 x 6" print = 840 x 1260 pixels
5 x 7" print = 1050 x 1470 pixels
8 x 10" print = 1680 x 2100 pixels
16 x 20" print = 2140 x 1800 pixels
20 x 30" print = 2140 x 1800 pixels
Wallet prints = 630 x 420 pixels (Actual image size: 2" x 3")

Minimum: The minimum recommended pixel dimensions for printing are as
follows:

4 x 6" print / 640 x 480 pixels minimum
5 x 7" print / 1024 x 768 pixels minimum
8 x 10" print / 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum
16 x 20" print / 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum
20 x 30" print / 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum
Wallet prints / 320 x 240 pixels minimum (Actual image size: 2" x 3")

Please note that print quality may vary since these resolutions are the
bare minimum. Also, it does not work to simply enlarge a small image. If
there is not enough image data, making it larger will only make it
fuzzier.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding your Ofoto
account or the Ofoto service, please let us know.

Sincerely,
Andrew Conroy
