Question Paint Shop Pro X Help Please

I am new . . . have tried for about 2 weeks to learn something about Elements 4 but i just think it is too far over my head for now. I have had a couple suggestions to use PSP so i downloaded the trial version which is version 10. I also then went to the tutorial which seems to be a big help on this site. However, i am stuck (over course.... just my luck). The tutorial wants me to "Select the Raster > Deform Tool. I think that maybe version 10 calls this tool something different?? Maybe i just dont find it? Anyone know anything about this tool? Thanks in advance.

I think it's the "pick" tool in PSP X. It looks like an arrow, I think anyway. I'm sure someone else will know for sure .

Tabatha, is correct. The raster/deform tool and the object selection tool in previous versions of PSP have been combined to become the "pick" tool in PSP X.

Yes it is the pick too. Also, I have great news for you. I just got an email from Corel. It has a special hidden link in it that I can send to family & friends so they can buy PSPX at $60.00 OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It expires on Jan 31 so no time like the present to buy PSPX.
I just bought it last month & thought I was getting a great deal at $30.00 off!
PSPX has a great new "learning center" which will literally walk you through the use of any activity or tool you want to use so, I think, it is great for beginners. Here is the link from their email:

Please feel free to direct your friends to the link below which will allow them to purchase PSP for only $69 which is $60 off the suggested retail price! This is a hidden landing page not accessible to folks via Corel.com - the only way your friends can get to it is through this link:

http://www.corel.com/hidoffer210

This offer expires on January 31, 2006.

By the way, I do not get anything if you buy it. I just think it is a great program at a SUPER GREAT price.

Hello Ruthy--is there a special code we must give our friends/family for them to use the offer? I have PSPX and I was just wondering since I did NOT get the email from Corel . I'd like to send the link to a family member. Well I'm going to head over to the Corel site and see what I can find--thanks for the tip!

Hi ladies,
No code needed. Just copy & paste the address in to your browser. It was a link in my email but doesn't show as a link here (maybe I needed to use the "Go Advanced" to post instead of "Quick Reply").
You can't get to the page by going to Corel's site. They don't mention it at all there. Yesterday I helped Jacki20 a bit & found out that you also get a free EXTRAs CD that is full of tubes, frames, masks, etc. It usually sells for $20.00!
When you go to the link you will see $69.00 for USA version & $89.00 for the Canadian verion. I didn't realize that there even was a Canadian version. Hee hee hee
