Question How do I do this?

I have a solid color background layer and I put an embossed texturizer layer over it. Then I Moved my pictures on top, but the embossed layer shows through the pictures, which I don't want. I had reduced the opacity on my pictures also. I just don't want the embossing to show through the pictures. Any help would be appreciated. I am using photoshop elements 3.0.

Can you cut out the embossed area under the picture or put a solid color back under it?
