Kelly, when my son was little, I pretty much didn't get anything done. Later, I'd find some time for myself when he went to bed.

I usually schedule a block of time to scrap one day a week. I like the 2 page sketches that Kim puts up for inspiration. I would love to scrap more but my job is so hectic right now with all the new system implementations that its all I can do right now. I'm lucky that DH respects my alone time every Wednesday night for 2 hours.

I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old and I crank out lots of work weekly. My trick: I leave my laptop running and PhotoShop open ALL day. I am always up and down from the computer...... scrap for a half hour, play with the kids... scrap for 15 minutes, do the dishes, etc. It's a lot easier if you can keep going back to it and pick up where you left off rather than open up the program, open up all of your papers & photos, etc.

Of course, my favorite time of day is 7pm because both kids are in bed and I get to scrap the night away!!!

Great thread! Love seeing all these tips too. I only have one little one, he is 2 1/2
Like Gina I have my laptop handy all day! Although lately I haven't had time to actually scrap or design very much lol
My paper scrapping friends have a once a month crop at a church or rec center, from 6pm - 11pm. I am so going as soon as I get my laptop bag! Can't imagine being able to scrap that long around JUST adults.
I usually get all my work done when he is sleeping, so yeah lots of late nights here too! As soon as our major home renovations are complete I am going to push for at least one child-free afternoon a week.

Abbreviations are really getting me on this site.... trying to figure them out. What does "DH" mean? Im thinking it has something to do with a husband.

Okay, you ladies are just wonderful! Thank you sooo much for these tips. I certainly wouldn't have thought to do a layout this way, but it makes perfect sense! For some reason, I kept wanting to have a huge block of time to just... I don't know... Create Art - lol. But, you all are absolutely right. We can do this in snatches of time too.

You all have inspired me. I'm going to get my pictures picked out and just start. Hopefully, I'll get my first LO posted this weekend. TY TY!!
