Typical time to complete a page?

I was just wanting some input from other people about what is a typical number of hours it takes you to complete a page. It's been taking me way too long, but I know it's because I let myself change the original plan for the page way too much. I'm sure I'll get faster as I get more experienced, too. I think the most useful answer is probably a typical number of hours, not days. Thanks!

Hi, well sometimes it only takes me an hour, sometimes it can take me days...not much help huh?
Typical for me is about 2-4 hours, but I know other people's typical time is like 2 in an hour!
I would like to say that going to chat and getting in on the inspirations there has helped a lot. That and doing a scraplift challenge is also very good.

Well, that really depends. When I first started digital scrapping I would maybe spend a day or two on a page because everything was new and I was getting used to the program, but typically, now, I spend only 4-5 hours on a page. I think the hardest part when starting is getting used to the different functions and capabilities of ones program. Once that is down , and you know what kind of effect or function you want to perform, you know exactly where and how to go about it, and can visualize the results.

My first pages (two page spread) took over a week before I would show them to even family... but I think it was because I was also trying to learn the program at the same time. I find that by joining in on the chatroom challenges, I am able to complete a page at a much quicker pace. My current record is 5 minutes for a page, but it was a very simple layout. Playing with your program, having photos and digital kits organized on your computer can really help layouts come together quickly too. Good luck, relax, and good speed will come to you!

Ok.. I don't feel so crazy now!! It usually takes me 2-3 hours to complete a LO (and then sometimes I come back and change it all up again!!) I just have 1 word to say : scraplift!!

And some of those scraplifts take forever, too, if there are a lot of different papers and elements...I try the "speed scrap," but rarely if ever make the deadline. I start a LO and then decide to add a few things or try something new and then go back to the original plan. I guess I'll get faster with time, too!

It just really depends, sometimes, I can snap one out in under an hour, but those are usually speed scraps with an inspiration to follow. I don't really think in hours though. One that I posted today took me a couple of days to complete, BUT, I'm not working on them constantly either. Altogether it probably took a few hours maybe? You will get faster the more you do it.
