Hi! Could someone please tell me what the "thumbs.db" file is that every .zip file contains? What is it, why do I need it, and what should I do with it? lol Thanks for the help!

I want to know this too! I've been deleted them...hope I'm not messing myself up!

I was under the impression that it was a little file created by windows for when you have your pictures in thumbnail view... just helps it to load faster.

They're such tiny files, I've just always left them alone....

No kidding? Who'da thunk it? Never could figure out why they didn't show up in my folder when I'd extract a zip file, but that would make sense if it was some kind of a systems file. Awesome! Hey thanks for answering, ya learn something new every day!
