Over at a different scrapping message board, there are a bunch of people who say that half their posts are praise (you know, once they reach a milestone). And I always think something like "I'll never leave that much praise." But HERE, I *do*! I think I have found my niche - I think this is a great site and I am so happy we digital scrappers have a place to call "home." I think something clicked for me here - if I open a LO, 99% of the time I leave praise. (Unless I'm at work... shhhhhhhh... )

How about you? Do you find yourself feeling more kinship with people here than at traditional scrapping sites? Do you find yourself more inspired here? Do you find yourself looking at these layouts and seeing things you can lift or want to learn how to do moreso than with paper layouts?

i def. feel that this is a home away from home for me! i dont think that (for me) that its so much that it's a completely cg scrapping site, but the whole atmosphere of the site. people are really genuinely helpful and friendly here. it's a place where you can come and get inspiration, help, and a pat on the back!!
that being said, i love having a site to be able to come to that specializes in just cg scrapping! there's such a wealth of information all in one spot. i constantly see layouts that make me say ooohhhhh and ahhhhh and hmmmm!!!!!

I know what you mean.

The site of which you speak (I think!) is very intimidating to me as it's so huge and overwhelming. I'm always looking through and seeing the zillions of posts others have done and the amazing LOs they do... and know I can't compete esp. as I cannot paper scrap worth a nickel.

I joined this site early on and feel like I 'know,' so to speak, all the first members, the regulars, etc. and can try, at least, to CASE what they're doing since it's all digital stuff. Although I'm sure the site will continue to grow and eventually rival that other site in size, for now, it's a good size and I feel at home.
