GRRR....Costco! Can someone help me!

Ok for the FIFTH time today I go to Costco to get things printed and they tell me again that the pictures were not taken at a 3:2 ratio and that cropping will occur (my camera is a 2.1 MP camera). I say but I did EXACTLY what you told me to do.....open a new canvas and size that appropriately and drag the pix to THAT canvas! Well I freaking did that and he is still saying that I did it wrong!

He to boot told me that he did NOT have time to give me a PS lesson. I was LIVID! His manager did NOT have a clue what I was talking about.

So anyway has anyone printed at Costco and had to do anything special to the canvas. I want to print 12x18's out with 6 6x6 LO's on them as well as some photos. I am about to shoot myself as these are for Christmas presents and this has been going on for 2 WEEKS!

Someone PLEASE help me!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you're having this problem. I do this all the time. In fact, I just picked up mines this afternoon.

All I do is open a blank 12x18 file and drag my 6x6 LOs to the blank canvas and save as a jpeg file at max size. I've done this for 2 NCAL Costco and 1 SCAL Costco and have not had any complaints.

What I was surprised about was that each store had a different color profile.

Oh believe me I was about ready to jump over the counter I was so annoyed. His manager tried to smooth things over but he had absolutely NO idea what I was talking about.

Hey Betty would ya mind telling me exactly what Costco's those are?? Maybe I can tell him to call them for some lessons!!!

I've mainly use the San Leandro, CA location. Only if it is absolutely necessary will I use the Fremont, CA location. Because the people working in the photo center have bad attitudes ... very similar to guy you encountered...after a long hard day a work, I can't deal with people like that.

Last month was my first time sending to the City of Industry in Los Angeles for my friend to pickup. Had no problems and she loved the LOs I created for her and I got a e-mail saying it was ready for pick up.

Once I got an e-mail that they were having technical difficulties with my files but when I called to find out what the problem was they said it was resolved....printer was out of paper...LOL

My girlfriend sends her photos to Walgreens. She loves the quality and convenience...its only 1 block from her DD's daycare.

I do too. THANKS for the responses. At least this way I KNOW what I want done can be done. I may just give the manager the names of those locations so that he can call for a lesson. I NEED to get this resolved ASAP so I can finish Christmas gifts.
